Position

Plooto is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our growing team. As a people champion, you will work with the CEO and other managers to foster a high performing culture. This is your chance to step into a Director role and take your career to the next level. If you have a Championship Mindset, then we want you to apply! 

Required Skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

RECRUITMENT & TALENT MANAGEMENT (30-40% of time) 

  • Create a recruitment strategy in tandem with developing the ideal candidate profiles that align with the organization’s principles and required skills 
  • Work with Department Directors to create a tiered promotion plan for all employees based on performance 
  • Maintain the organization’s workforce by establishing a recruiting and interviewing program (entry and exit) 
  • Establish and execute on 30/60/90 onboarding best practices 

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT (40-50% of the time) 

  • Develop and execute on strategies to support the culture of a winning team 
  • Build internal talent by driving the creation, implementation, and execution of high-quality training and development plans 
  • Recommend and execute employee engagement initiatives to support the pursuit of excellence 
  • Define and coordinate HR metrics, data analysis, and reporting to determine the organization’s most critical areas for operational development and improvement 
  • Be present with the team, be involved, and mitigate any issues/complaints that arise 
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and provincial human resource requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the company at hearings 

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, H&S, AND ADMINISTRATION (5-10% of time) 

  • Monitor and schedule individual pay actions 
  • Recommend, plan, and implement pay structure revisions 
  • Promote a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring occupational health and safety compliance 
  • Manage the overall benefits program

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • University degree or College diploma in HR or related field is required 
  • 8+ years of Human Resources Generalist/Manager/ Director experience is required 
  • Strong Knowledge of the “OKR framework” 
  • CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset 
  • Experience in leading a strong organizational culture or have worked for an organization with a strong organizational culture (Netflix, Google, Amazon, etc.)
